Dr. Amanda Demsey is originally from Kitchener, Ontario but happily calls Nova Scotia home after pursuing both her undergraduate and dental degrees at Dalhousie. Following graduation, she practiced in St. John’s, NL before returning to the Halifax area and joining the team at Nova Dental. Beyond just focusing on teeth, Dr. Demsey cares about her patients’ overall wellbeing and does her utmost to ensure all appointments are as comfortable as possible. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and especially loves the family focus of Nova Dental, from first patient visits with toddlers to accommodating elderly patients in our wheelchair-accessible operatories. Dr. Demsey regularly attends conferences and conventions to stay up-to-date with the newest in dental techniques and materials. Aside from practicing dentistry, she fills her time with reading, running, camping and travelling.
